Thomas Graves (1) was born in Dublin, Ireland, possibly about 1820. He is said to have married Julia Leek. (R‑1)

CHILDREN OF THOMAS GRAVES (1) AND JULIA LEEK
James Graves (2) was born about 1845 in Dublin, Ireland. He married Julia A. Murray, daughter of Patrick Murray and Julia Lyons, both of Ireland, probably either in Cleveland, OH or New York City. She was born 28 Feb. 1849 in Dublin, Ireland, died 3 March 1926 in Cleveland, OH, and was buried in Calvery Cem., Cleveland, OH. They moved to Cleveland, OH, perhaps about 1877. He worked as a teamster in Cleveland. They have not been found in the 1880 census records. Julia was in the 1900 and 1910 censuses for Cleveland, OH, with her sons Thomas and James. All their children were born in OH. (R‑1)

3. Thomas F. (or S.) (“Ike”) Graves, b. Sept. 1875, d. 16 March 1943. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, and a member of the Iron Workers Union in Cleveland. He was a fireman in 1900 and a structural iron worker in 1910.

James Edward Graves (4) was born 6 Sept. 1877 in Cleveland, OH, and died 16 Dec. 1947 in Los Angeles, CA. He married Charlotte Jane Farley, daughter of George Farley (b.c. 1863, Cleveland, OH) and Elizabeth Hayes (b.c. 1870, Ireland). She was born 18 Feb. 1891 in Cleveland, OH, and died 16 Feb. 1978 in Santa Ana, CA. He was an iron worker in 1900. (R‑1)
