William Graves (1) lived in Laceby, near Grimsby, Lincolnshire, England.  He married Ann ‑‑‑‑‑‑.  (R‑1)

   2.  Elizabeth Graves, b. 14 Jan. 1827.  This birth date is too close to that of her sister.

+3.   Ellen Graves, b. 20 July 1827, m. Christopher Quickfall, 11 Nov. 1853, d. Feb. 1893.

 

 

GENERATION 2

 

CHILDREN OF WILLIAM GRAVES (1) AND ANN ------

Ellen Graves (3) was born 20 July 1827 in Laceby, Lincolnshire, died in Feb. 1893, and was buried 18 Feb. 1893 in Great Limber, Lincolnshire.  She married Christopher Quickfall, son of Francis Quickfall and Mary Jackson, on 11 Nov. 1853 in Great Limber.  He was born in 1820 in Great Limber, Lincolnshire, and died in 1903 in Croydon, Surrey.  They were in the 1861 and 1881 censuses for Great Limber.  He was an agricultural labourer.  (R‑1, R‑2)

GENERATION 3

 

CHILDREN OF ELLEN GRAVES (3) AND CHRISTOPHER QUICKFALL

Francis Quickfall (4) was born about 1854 in Limber, Lincolnshire, and died in 1912 in Croydon, Surrey.  He married Harriet ‑‑‑‑‑‑.  She was born about 1859 in Redhill, Surrey.  They were in the 1891 census for Croydon, Surrey, living at 2 Borough Hill.  He was a joiner carpenter.  (R‑2)

   9.  Ellen Eliza Quickfall, b.c. 1884 (Croydon, Surrey).

 

Frederick Quickfall (6) was born about 1865 in Great Limber, and died in 1949 in Cleethorpes, both in Lincolnshire.  He married Betsy Cheeseman on 18 May 1888 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.  She was born about 1867, died in April 1933 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, and was buried 25 April 1933 in Fawkner Cem., Melbourne.  (R‑2)

   15.   Ruth Quickfall, b.c. 1897, m. Bennett Parker, 26 Oct. 1925 (Old Clee, Lincs.), d. 25 March 1979 (Melbourne, Victoria).

+16.   Nellie Quickfall, b. 6 Jan. 1899, m. Arthur Stanney, 21 Nov. 1918,d. 27 Aug. 1988.

Charlotte Quickfall (7) was born about 1867 in Great Limber, Lincolnshire.  It is not known whether she married.  (R‑2)

CHILDREN OF FREDERICK QUICKFALL (6) AND BETSY CHEESEMAN

Ethel A. Quickfall (10) was born about 1886 in Glandford Brigg, Lincolnshire, and died in 1913.  She married Charles Edward Couldron in 1913 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.  (R‑2)

   20.   Margaret Couldron, b. 13 July 1913 (Branstone, Lincolnshire), m. Harold Waller, 2 April 1932 (Lincoln, Lincs.).  He was b. 6 Sept. 1906 in Stainfield, Lincs., and d. 4 Feb. 1976 in Lincoln, Lincs.  4 children.

 

George Frederick Quickfall (13) was born about 1894 in Caistor, Lincolnshire.  He first married Clara Church in 1915 in Bramley, Lincolnshire.  He married second Edith Gower in 1923 in Dewsbury, Yorkshire.  (R‑2)

   21.   Dennis Quickfall, b. 1922 (Leeds, Yorkshire), d. 1923 (Bramley, Yorkshire).

Ralph Quickfall (14) was born about 1895, died in June 1980 in Skegness, Lincolnshire, and was buried 8 June 1980 in Skegness.  He married Peggy McDonald in 1923 in Sleaford, Lincolnshire.  (R‑2)

Nellie Quickfall (16) was born 6 Jan. 1899 in Great Limber, Lincolnshire, and died 27 Aug. 1988 in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.  She married Arthur Stanney on 21 Nov. 1918 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.  He was born 8 June 1895 and died 21 Oct. 1982, both in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.  (R‑2)

Winifred Quickfall (17) was born in 1905 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.  She married Bob Sibbick on 17 Oct. 1922 in Grimsby, Lincolnshire.  He was born in 1922 in Aldershot, Hampshire.  All their children were born in Lincolnshire.  (R‑2)

   38.   Margaret Sibbick, b. 2 Nov. 1925 (Cleethorpes, Lincs.), m. Clifford Spencer, 1944 (Cleethorpes, Lincs.).  He was b. 5 July 1920 in Holbeck, Yorks.  5 children.

 

Tom Quickfall (18) was born in 1907, died in July 1965 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, and was buried 7 July 1965 in Fawkner, Melbourne, Victoria.  He married Mary Allport on 27 Nov. 1937 in Preston, Victoria.  She was born in 1904 in Bolton, Lancashire, died 15 March 1992 in New Farm, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, and was cremated 18 March 1992 in Mt. Thompson, Brisbane, ashes buried in Fawkner.  She must have had a second marriage to Mr. Willerton, since that is the surname her children used.  (R‑2)
