Sons Robert and William were born in Farnsfield, Nottinghamshire, and the next 4 were born in Calverton, Nottinghamshire. They were in the 1861 and 1871 censuses for Riddings, Alfreton, Derbyshire. Robert and his sons were all involved with coal mining.

Derbyshire. They were in the 1881
census for Selston, Nottinghamshire, where the birthplace of everyone in the
family was given as Selston. They were
in the 1891 census for Pye Hill, Selston, Nottinghamshire, with Robert born at
Calverton, Notts., and all children born at Pye Hill, Notts. They were in the 1901 census for Selston St.
Helen, Selston, Nottinghamshire, with their son William Greaves living next

He married Anna Wolf, daughter of Heinrich (“Henry”) Peter Wolf and Anna
Dickhof, in 1894. She was born 31 July
1877 in Muelheim An Der Ruhr, Rheinland, Preussen, and died 12 June 1951 in St.
Louis, St. Louis Co., MO. Both their
children were born in Ladd, Bureau Co., IL.

St. Louis, St. Louis Co., MO, and died 27 Sept. 1984 in St. Petersburg,
FL. They were both buried in Sunset

1989, and was buried in sunset Memorial Park, all in St. Louis, MO. He married second Jean Grove on 18 June

[1] His place of birth is according to the 1871 census for Riddings, Alfreton, Derbyshire. Neither Ketlington nor Kellington can be found in Derbyshire, but there is a Kellington in North Yorkshire. His place of birth in the 1861 census is not readable, but it could be Kirklington, close to Southwell, Nottinghamshire.
